Corise Pimocard Pimobendan for Dogs
Pimocard Pimobendan Chewable Tablets come from the house of Corise aka Swiss Biocare. It is used to treat dilated cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure in dogs caused by atrioventricular valvular insufficiency (AVVI).
Pimocard stimulates myocardium by a dual mode of action that includes increased calcium sensitivity of cardiac myofilaments and phosphodiesterase inhibition (Type III). Pimocard acts as a vasodilator by suppressing phosphodiesterase III activity. Pimobendan is indicated for the management of mild to moderate or severE CHF’ (Modified NYHA class IIa, IIIb or IVc).
Usually recommended in dogs & puppies suffering from cardiac insufficiency due to congestion and helps reduce occurance of congestive heart failure. Veterinary oral use only. Usual dosage is 0.5mg.kg bodyweight in dogs
Ingredients: Each rectangular chewable Pimocard tablet contains Pimobendan 2.5mg or Pimobendan 5mg IP.
