Selamec is specially designed to prevent and treat various parasitic infestations such as fleas, ticks, mites lice, heartworms, hookworms, and roundworms of cats. It is effective against all the ecto and endo-parasites.

Composition:

• Selamectin B.P. 6% w/v

• Base q.s.

Class: Endectocide (Macrocyclic Lactone)

Uses:

• The medicine can be used to treat Fleas
• It kills adult fleas and prevents flea eggs from hatching Ticks
• It helps prevent and treat tick infestations Mites
• It is effective against ear mites Heartworms
• It helps prevent heartworm disease Intestinal Worms
• It aids in the treatment and control of hookworms and roundworms.

Directions for Use

• Dosage:

1. The dosage is determined by your cat’s weight. It’s crucial to use the correct pipette size and dosage recommended for your cat’s weight range.

2. The recommended minimum dose is generally 6 mg of selamectin per kg of body weight.

• Application:

1. Selamec is a topical “spot-on” treatment, meaning it’s applied directly to the skin.

2. The solution should be applied to the base of the cat’s neck, in front of the shoulder blades. This area minimizes the risk of the cat licking the medication.

3. Part the cat’s fur and apply the entire contents of the pipette directly onto the skin.
