Cepstar Yum Tabs from Veko care contains antibiotic cephalexin used to treat a wide range of infections in dogs & cats. Cepstar is a good oral broad spectrum antibiotic for use in pets. These antibacterial tablets are highly palatable, hence also called yum tabs or yummy tabs.

Composition: Cephalexin IP 300/600mg

Class: Antibiotic

Indications/Uses 

• Bacterial skin infection- Staphylococcus infection,
• Urinary tract infection,
• Hot spot on the skin,
• Respiratory tract infection,
• In wound and abscesses

Directions for use: 

• Dogs:- 22-30mg/kg body weight 8-12 hourly twice or thrice a day for 7-10 days
• Cats:- 22-30mg/kg body weight 8 hourly
• Can be given directly or mixed with food.
• Usual dosage is 30 mg per kg body weight for 15days.
• Follow prescribing veterinarian’s guidance closely on dosage.
• Complete entire dosage for the entire duration prescribed by veterinarian or resistance may develop against cephalexin.
