Vivaldis Seveclear Tablets for Dogs & Cats
Seveclear tablets for dogs & cats is a phosphorus binder from the house of Vivaldis Animal Health. It contains sevelamer carbonate which is a calcium-free, aluminum-free, non-metal phosphate binder. Usually prescribed in cases of deteriorated kidney health in dogs & cats suffering from hyperphosphatemia. Helpful for CKD – Chronic Kidney Disease dogs & cats to remove excess phosphorus from diet.
It is suitable for dogs & cats who can’t be given calcium phosphate binders which can cause hypercalcemia, deposition of lanthanum for lanthanum binders, aluminum toxicity for aluminum-based binder and prevents residual effects and increased PTH levels for chitosan binders. Thus it overcomes all the shortcomings of calcium, aluminum, lanthanum and chitosan-based phosphate binders. Sevelamer when taken with meals binds with dietary phosphate and prevents phosphate absorption.
